Welcome to the Canadian Collegiate Esports League's Portal.

CCEL look forward to offering participants various esports events where users can compete against students from various institutions!

Please check if your university/college has a portal by clicking < here > before creating an account.

Join our group by following the steps below:

To get started, follow these steps to participate:

1. Sign up for an account on GYO if you haven't already by selecting Join Group in the upper righ hand cornerthen Register for Account. If you're having any issues registering, please contact Support Chat at the bottom right corner.

2. In order to have your application accepted, participants must include their student email to verify they're affiliated with a collegiate institution participating in the CCEL. Applications will be denied if email is not included.

Note: Participants can use an external email to create the account, but we need student email to verify.

3. Once accepted, you can check out the Play/Compete tab to register for the CCEL events. Additional instructions will be provided on that page.

Summer Knight-Leaders & New ...

Hello! Our current leaders are:

Thanks to everyone who has completed games so far. We have received great feedback about new features players would like to see and have fixed a couple of bugs, so we encourage everyone to make new challenges this week to take advantage of the changes.

Some updates include:

Fixed an issue where a game lobby would not form correctly after a challenge
Fixed an issue where players who were challenged would sometimes not see the notification
Players who issue a challenge are now able to cancel their game before the challenge is accepted, if needed
Changed the default start time to 15 minutes from the current time instead of 5, to allow players more time to see the challenges
Improved the lobby interface to help players find the "Accept / Decline" challenge buttons more efficiently
Fixed a number of minor visual bugs / issues
Improved the Lobby notifications UI so players know when challenges are pending approval or ready to go

Fortnite Summer Showdown Update

Hello Everyone!

The upcoming CCEL Fortnite Summer Showdown is this Saturday, July 24th at 12 pm PST/3pm EST. I want to remind everyone of a couple of things:

Please don't forget to to register for the tournament, deadline is Thursday at Midnight PST: https://gyoca.gg/league/CCEL/lg/ccel-fortnite/summer-showdown/
This is a Duos tournament, so you will need to create a team with another player. Head over go to the CCEL discord, make sure to have a Fortnite role, and go to the #looking-for-group channel in the Fortnite category.
We will be communicating with you via GYO as well as the CCEL discord. Make sure you have your discord listed on GYO. This can be done by following this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhFp1Wzh3W8
